CHRISTOPHER HARTSFIELD

Chief Operating Officer

Christopher Hartsfield joined Parkway Corporation in 2023 as the Chief Operating Officer. Recently, Mr. Hartsfield served as Head of Real Estate at Amtrak. In this role, he served as the highest-ranking real estate executive with overall responsibility for a nationwide portfolio of real estate, land holdings, and fixed assets. Prior to Amtrak, Mr. Hartsfield spent over 20 years in enterprise-level operations, portfolio strategy, financing, and due diligence roles for various Commercial Real Estate Firms on the East Coast. He was Senior Vice President of Asset Management and Operations for Prime Group Holdings, a private equity firm and the largest owner of self-storage real estate in the United States. During his tenure, Mr. Hartsfield led all aspects of asset-level and corporate-level strategy and operations, including property management, marketing, leasing, asset management, and IT groups. Mr. Hartsfield was previously Director of Asset Management & Operations at Brandywine Realty Trust and was Vice President of Operations at Washington Capitol Partners in Washington, DC. Mr. Hartsfield is currently a member of many real estate industry associations, such as the Real Estate Executive Council, NAREIT, BOMA, and Forbes Real Estate Council.  He is an alumnus of Morehouse College in Atlanta, where he received his B.A. in Psychology. He also holds a M.Sc. in Financial Management from the University of Maryland, as well as a graduate certificate from Georgetown University in Commercial Real Estate Investment.
